IMPROVISED EXPLOSIVE & VEHICLE-BORNE EXPLOSIVE AWARENESS

As public safety professionals, the chance of encountering IEDs and vehicle-borne explosives has increased significantly, especially during large scale public events. Being responsible for public safety, if such a crisis should arise, it is imperative that members of your organization are aware of IEDs and capable of identifying a device and acting if one is discovered. In this course, you and your team will learn how to increase awareness, recognize suspicious packages and create an action plan. With the enhanced knowledge you will gain from this course, your team will be more confident and better prepared to respond.

● This course is designed to educate public safety personnel and introduce improvised explosive devices and vehicle-borne explosives.
● Increases in use and availability of improvised explosive devices are detrimental to the safety of the public attending large scale gatherings. It has become imperative that you and your team are aware of IEDs and prepared to identify and act if such a device is discovered.
● Our program will allow your team to increase their awareness of types of devices, and confidently recognize suspicious packages and formulate an action plan for a safe outcome.
