As a healthcare professional or emergency response personnel, you may direct or participate in the management of a cardiovascular emergency and your communication and action is paramount in saving lives. This course will cover how to be a member or leader of a resuscitation team and how to identify and respond to emergencies. With these skills and techniques, you will be confident and prepared to perform advanced life support and help mitigate fatal tragedies at your organization.
- This course has been created for healthcare professionals and emergency response personnel who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies.
- If faced with a medical emergency, action and communication is paramount. Flying Aces will teach you effective communication as a member and/or leader of a resuscitation team and how to rapidly identify and respond to cardiovascular emergencies.
- The course covers basic life support skills, including effective chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device, and use of an AED.
- Successful completion of the course will entail recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest, airway management, related pharmacology, management of ACS and stroke, ensuring our students are more confident at life-saving techniques.
