In the workplace as well as in public spaces, individuals need to be prepared for an active shooter incident so when such an incident occurs, an organization will be able to mitigate the chaos. If you are an executive, an official or other professional in a leadership role who may need to manage a critical incident while collaborating with first responders and law enforcement, this course will provide a deeper knowledge and advanced skill set, so you are better prepared for such an emergency. Using real-time dynamic scenarios and drills, you will practice situational awareness and live-action movements. You will learn how to manage critical incidents and evacuation plans which will increase life-saving measures and aid in mitigating fatal tragedies.

If you are a fire or EMS first responder who provides on-scene emergency care, recovery and extraction during a mass casualty situation or unsafe environment, your ability to effectively handle high-stress and perform rapid care can save the lives of critically injured persons. This 2-day course will enhance your capabilities and teach you sound planning and implementation of extraction procedures. By engaging in staged scenarios in a dynamic training environment with role players, students will become better equipped to work side-by-side with other personnel, limiting fatalities.
